A Season of Giving

Each year Traditional Bank employees donate countless hours to local non-profit agencies.   Traditional Bank supports community involvement and is proud to provide employees time and resources to volunteer and fundraise.  This holiday season Traditional Bank will offer its support in a brand new way.  During the month of December, the bank will make a $25 donation in the name of each of its employees to a local charitable organization of their choice.

"I am humbled by the generosity shown by our employees throughout the year,” said Traditional Bank Chairman and CEO Bill Bramblet. “When our neighbors are in need, they answer the call. Whether it’s hosting a bake sale, mentoring a child or building a house, they are ready to help.”

“By making a donation on behalf of each employee, we hope to honor their efforts and help spread joy to needy families this holiday season,” Bramblet said.

In order to do the most good in each community, Traditional Bank decided to narrow the field of charities to three or four per market.  This was done through an employee survey.  Employees were asked to recommend charities that directly support local families.  Once the results were received, the bank selected the most popular organizations that fit the mission and asked employees to choose a charity from that list.  This week the bank will donate over $5,000 to 17 local charities on behalf of its employees.

“The response from our team members has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Traditional Bank President Bill Alverson. “We hope to make this an annual tradition for our bank.  As we grow, so can the good that we do we do in each of our communities.”
