Helping Fight Hunger During the Holidays and Every Day

Volunteer in mask and gloves unloading produce boxes from truck.

Hunger is a widespread but often invisible problem. An unexpected medical bill, accident, or job loss can cause a family to slip into temporary food insecurity, or that state may last a bit longer. Over 50% of households that need assistance with food have at least one family member with regular employment, but still struggle to put regular meals on the table. That's why our bank is proud to provide financial support to God’s Pantry Food Bank, and help local families in need of both short and long-term assistance.

God’s Pantry Food Bank supplies food for food pantries and meal programs throughout the 50 counties of Central and Eastern Kentucky, including soup kitchens, emergency shelters, and afterschool programs.

If you or someone you know is in need of help, please contact food pantries and meal providers in your county directly for information on receiving emergency food assistance. Use the location map located on the God's Pantry website to find resources in your area at Find Help - God's Pantry Food Bank (godspantry.org).
