Plan a Visit to MOCO Farmers' Market.

Tables with potatoes, green beans and cabbage for sale.

Did you know that the Montgomery County Farmers’ Market is in full swing? Now open every Wednesday and Saturday from 7-12 am. It is definitely worth a visit to Mt. Sterling for the fresh selection of produce, baked goods, crafts and more.  Local farmers are making the most of their new pavillion in downtown Mt. Sterling, located at the end of Maysville Street beside the old train depot. Lots of delicious veggies and goodies can be found.

Shoppers can now use SNAP EBT cards and the new P-EBT cards at the market and receive double dollars for them! WIC and senior vouchers can also be used to make purchases and take advantage of double dollars.  The market is only allotted so much money each season for double dollars so don’t wait. Take advantage of that soon. For more information on double dollars visit the market manager’s table.

Due to Covid-19, the market put in place some basic guidelines they are asking everyone to follow. Organizers and vendors are doing their best to keep shoppers and families safe.  To learn more about what you can expect to find  at the Montgomery County Farmers’ Market, including details about promotions and giveaways, visit their website at www.mocofarmersmarket.com.
